José González López was born in Órgiva (Granada) on the March 3rd in 1961. In 1989 José joined Antonio Marín Montero his workshop. The small workshop is located in a residential area in the heart of Granada, near the house of Manuel de Falla and the Alhambra Palace, one of the most beautiful places that many artists love. Together with the help of Antonio Marín and José Marín Plazuelo, his brother-in-law, José learned the traditional art of making very refined flamenco guitars. The reputation and demand for José his instruments increases worldwide, waiting times exceed one year now.
