This humidifier does not leak and is the only system where you run no risk of damaging your instrument. The super absorbent polymer crystals inside the humidifier capture up to 500 times its weight in water. It is easy to see when it’s time to refill, provides long-lasting humidification and ensures no leakage. A perfect humidity is between 45% and 55%. Positon this humidifier near the guitar body to obtain a correct humidification.

The body of this humidifier is made from a specially designed fabric that allows water vapor to pass through it. As the vapor transmission takes place, the humifier starts to shrinks compensating the loss of water. By watching the humidifier shrink, you can easily see when it is needs to be refilled. Simply unscrew the black cap, fill with water to the top of the container and screw the cap back on. The super absorbent polymer crystals inside the humidifier capture up to 500 times its weight in water.  Also suitable for violins, violas, cellos, mandolins, jazz or acoustic guitars and woodwinds like clarinets.

Two integrated neodymium magnets in the seam of the humidifier. These magnets attach the humidifier to the inside of your instrument case to the stainless steel strip with adhesive backing. This enables you to attach, remove and re-attach your humidifier. The adhesive backed stainless steel strip allows for either vertical or horizontal attachment anywhere on flat surface inside your case. An advantage of this type of humidifier is the flexibility to position the humidifier in a wide variety of locations within your instrument case.

The syringe will increase your control during filling or refilling the humidifier. Since the humidifier holds about 32cc’s of water, it will take 3+ syringes of water to fill the first time. After that, refills should only take 1 syringe of water. We recommend the use of distilled water which will extend the useful life of your humidifier. The crystals inside the humidifier are designed to last a long time.

Important: When using your guitar case humidifier for the first time, be careful not to turn your humidifier upside down in an attempt to try and look at the dry crystals. If you do turn the humidifier upside down, you might spill some of the dry crystals out decreasing the humidifier its capacity. Once the water has been absorbed by the dry crystals you will see them very easily.

Return right: You have 14 days to decide if the item is right for you. A return can be requested by clicking on 'My Account' at the top right and next select the "Returns". La Sonanta guarantees to refund any items, less shipping charges, provided that they are returned in original condition. The online tracking of the transport service will identify the time of receipt at home. In-store purchases or sealed products like DVD, Books and CDs as well as annouced clearence sales do not qualify for return rights. If you want to return the product, please understand that you are responsible for the shipping and the shipper. Since we are a small-sized specialty store and that it is virtually impossible for us to determine the best mode of transportation in your local area, we can not organize the return shipping and can not refund the costs of the return shipping. We strongly advise you to always use insured shipping and optimally insure your return shipment against loss or damage during transport for the purchase value of the product to be returned. All products must be returned to us in the original undamaged box and packaging. If the products show signs of wear and tear that results in a diminished value, we reserve the right to reduce the refund accordingly. Therefore, treat the products or instrument(s) with care while they are in your possession and do not play or use them after you have informed us that you want to return the product. The responsibility for the product lies with you, the customer, until the product is received by us. Special ordered products, custom orders or goods which have been manufactured or altered according to customer specifications and for which a non-refundable deposit was paid are excluded from this return policy. We will do our utmost to find a solution acceptable to all parties, but there is no guarantee that we can fully refund the amount paid for the custom product.
