Preshaped bone saddle with G string compensation suitable for most guitars, 80x9x3mm (3.15" x 0.35" x 0.12").

String side already rounded and ready for use. In most cases you only need to adjust the height and width slightly (sanding and polishing). Due to the extra stiffness of the thicker G string, the G string will be stretched more than the other strings when playing. As a result the pitch of the G string increases slightly. By moving the saddle slightly backwards at the point where the G string rests on the bone, this pre-shaped bridge bone, compensates that effect.

Because the saddle is the termination point of the vibrating string, a high quality saddle is essential to obtain a good intonation. Due to its hardness, durability, strength and tone, this saddle bone will transfer string vibrations with an excellent resonance to your guitar top.
