Constructed by luthier Vassilis Lazarides in his Manuel Reyes mould. By taking up the maintenance, functional repair and restorations of many Manuel Reyes flamenco guitars, Lazarides had the opportunity to analyse, from within, how these Reyes flamenco guitars are constructed. Next Lazarides decided to make a new mould enabling him to construct true Reyes flamenco guitars down to the smallest detail.
This is a top concert instrument for any professional flamenco setting, on stage whether in studio.
Visually stunning Reyes flamenco guitar, a truly outstanding powerful flamenco sound, great aesthetics and planetary geared tuning pegs. This lightweight flamenco guitar is an iconic dream guitar in every way, robust and penetrating trebles, fat and bold basses, phenomenal harmonics, quick response, wonderful with rasgueado. Playability is a breeze, the partially flat neck provides a top level ergonomic playability, string height is now set at 2.3mm on the 12th fret, however still plenty of room to set it lower, 1.8mm is achievable.
The woods used for this flamenco guitar are marvellous. The 1st grade German spruce top has a perfectly even and straight grain with plenty of the essential cross silk patterns. The back and sides are made of old aged gorgeous exotic Malaysian rosewood. Its unique colours, attractive grain designs, elegant rosette and purflings give it an extraordinary beauty.
