Paco Serrano, winner of the “Concurso Nacional de la Guitarra Flamenca de Córdoba” is one of the few top flamenco guitarists who still dedicates part of his time to tuition. In this video Paco Serrano explains the different flamenco guitar techniques, such as pulgar, rasgueado, arpegio, trémolo, alzapúa, ligados, for Soleá. Each falseta is played at normal speed and repeated slowly. Starting from the rhythm of Soleá, step by step, you will learn more about Alegrías, Bulerías, Tangos, Tarantas, as well as exceptional techniques like a seven-note-tremolo and special rasgueos. In the second part, Paco plays a few of his concert pieces. Surely, this final section may serve as an incentive, for even the most advanced guitarists, to develop their own ideas.
